Days go by...

Where did 10 days go?

What did I do?  Vanish?  Drop into a coma?

I don't think so...it's hard to tell sometimes, though.

I did work out a few times.  I'm doing pretty well.
Not keeping entirely to the schedule, but I go, I work out, I come home sweaty and I take a shower.  There's a routine starting to form slowly.

I'm up to 2 miles in a single go, I only max out at just under 4 mph, but oh well.  For those of you that don't use a treadmill, we're talking slow lol...like a 16 minute mile, but I'm okay with that.  I'm getting a little faster, I'm picking up the pace.

Yesterday I went 2.01 miles.

Not awful.

It's coming along and one of these days I'll be able to smile and say that I hit the 3 mile mark in my workout.

I feel okay most of the time.

And yesterday, yesterday while the rain fell and turned to ice on the roads, that yesterday, we went to IKEA, that last bastion of crazy super-euro mass-produced trendiness.  We kept it to a minimum, we needed a few organizer things, and our bill was a charmingly small (by IKEA standards) $40.  The hats in the coat closet?  Now charmingly arranged into a sliding basket system...that keeps the closet door from closing.

Excellent.

It should have fit.  It WOULD have fit, had we measured the baseboard that mysteriously runs inside the closet as well.

So.  Next chore on the ever-growing list is probably going to be to find some mysterious object that elevates said basket system about 2 inches to make it able to be set flush against the back wall and remain stable...or rearrange 3 closets to move stuff out of that closet so that we can turn that thing sideways.  Either way.

Also, I'm thinking about testing out the Jr. High method of cleaning my room where I cram lots of things under the bed and pretend I have no idea they're there later.

Ah, to be young.  I feel young.  Except for when I feel very, very sleepy.

Watched a fairly short documentary last night about a couple of Americans who actually got into North Korea and did the full diplomatic tour.  Very interesting.

Life gets away from me sometimes.  I got the cubes reupholstered and we're going to try to tackle the office chair this weekend.  We're getting a new couch soon, this one is breaking, and since my mom bought it when I was something like 12 or so, I'm going to say we got a decent amount of mileage out of the thing.  Since we're getting a new couch, though, I'm eager to get some fresh new things prettied up and in the living room to go with it.

The baby has a cold, I need a haircut, and Death Valley is the record hottest place in the world at 136 degrees Fahrenheit.  I'm just full of random information.

I need to go figure out what to do for dinner before I ramble myself right out of the room.
